I worked very closely with this client (C.H.) who wanted to create a personal memory from several older snapshots of him and his recently departed wife. He asked for a “painterly look” if possible. Here is what I did:

Scanned and color matched 6 images;

Repaired scratches and other damage and fading;

Compositing and masking to create his desired image;

Added textures and painterly effects;

Giclee prints 16×20″ on canvas and fine art papers

Framed the work and made note cards.

Lifetime memory for a wonderful gentlemen!

The client wanted to have an old snapshot of family members (1925) on a historical motorcycle transformed into something “creative and very different.”

Result is a tinted image;

Artistic Background;

Double Photographic Matte;

16×20 Canvas Print
