What To Expect

Each photograph/artwork/document is unique and is individually evaluated when you request a price quote.
Pricing for restoration, retouching, printing, etc. is based on the time and complexity required for the work.

Price is quoted after consultation and project assessment. You know the cost BEFORE the work begins.

You communicate directly with someone who really cares how your finished work looks and who actually enjoys working on your image.

RESTORATION WORK STARTS AT $40 per image for a simple restoration including a professional consultation, digital scanning, and corrected image printed on fine art paper up to 8x10in. For other sizes pricing based on time and complexity.

Because photo sizes, quality, complexity of restoration/retouching, and the amount of work vary widely, we will provide you with a quote based on the photograph, desired completed image(s) and type of fine art paper used.

    • Restoration work starts at $40 per image (Prices may vary)
    • Framed original photo artwork from $55
    • Note cards are $20/gift box of 6

Custom collections and quantities quoted on request.

VISA and MASTERCARD accepted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions and answers that clients frequently want to know about, and I thought you might want to know also. If your question is not answered here, please call or email and we’ll be pleased to try to answer it for you.

Q. What happens to my original photograph after I give it to you?

A. Your photo/art/document will be scanned using high-resolution scanning equipment to convert the image into a digital format for digital restoration/artwork. Your original comes back to you exactly the way you gave it to us.

Q. How long does it take to restore a photograph?

A. The time it takes to complete a job depends on how large and complex it is, as well as how much work is “in the pipeline”, so to speak. Since we are not a high production volume, nor a bargain basement photo shop, turnaround time is typically between a 7 to 14 days. We focus on excellence, detail, and quality work, not on a time clock.

Q. What is Giclée anyway?

A. Giclée is a printing process and not an oil painted effect on a print. Giclée prints are created typically using professional 8-color to 12-color inkjet printers. These modern technology printers produce incredibly detailed prints. Digital images can be reproduced to almost any size and onto various media.
